2. Products and Intended Use
LifeVac is a registered medical device intended to be used as an emergency airway clearance tool in cases of choking. The product is delivered sealed and is strictly single-use. Users must follow the instructions provided in the packaging. The device should only be used by individuals trained in its proper application or under emergency circumstances.
3. Ordering and Payment
Orders placed through this site are confirmed via email. Payment can be made using the available payment methods listed at checkout. Prices include applicable VAT unless otherwise specified. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders in case of suspected fraud, pricing errors, or other issues.
4. Delivery
We strive to deliver products promptly, typically within 1–3 working days. Shipping times may vary depending on location and courier service. The customer will receive an AWB number for shipment tracking once the order is dispatched.
5. Right of Withdrawal – Exceptions for Sealed Medical Devices
In accordance with Article 16(e) of Directive 2011/83/EU and O.U.G. no. 34/2014, the right of withdrawal does not apply to:
- “the supply of sealed goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons and were unsealed after delivery.”
Therefore, sealed medical products like LifeVac cannot be returned once opened. However, Nuvolina SRL reserves the right to evaluate return requests on a case-by-case basis, including the proper disposal of opened units. For more information, see our Return Policy.
6. Warranty and Liability
LifeVac is guaranteed to be free from manufacturing defects. Nuvolina SRL’s liability is limited to the value of the product purchased. We do not assume responsibility for misuse, improper handling, or failure to follow instructions.
7. Data Protection and GDPR
All personal data is processed in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Due to medical device legislation, we are required to store customer data (billing information, delivery details, device serial number and lot number) for a period of 10 years for potential product recalls. 8. Modifications
Nuvolina SRL reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be published on this page with the date of the latest update.
